Earthbound

Title- Earth Bound
By. Aprilynne Pike
Released on: July 30, 2013

Summery

Tavia Michaels is the sole survivor of the plane crash that killed her parents. When she starts to see strange visions of a boy she’s never spoken with in real life, she begins to suspect that there’s much about her past that she isn’t being told.

Tavia immediately searches for answers, desperate to determine why she feels so drawn to a boy she hardly knows. But when Tavia discovers that the aunt and uncle who took her in after her parents' death may have actually been responsible for the plane crash that killed them—and that she may have been the true intended victim—she flees for the safety of Camden, Maine, where the boy she sees in her visions instructs her to go.

Now, Tavia is on the run with no one to trust. No one, that is, except for her best friend and longtime crush, Benson.

Tavia feels torn between the boy who mysteriously comes to her at night and the boy who has been by her side every step of the way. But what Tavia doesn't know is that the world is literally falling apart and that to save it she will have to unite with the boy in her visions. Only problem? To do so would mean rejecting Benson's love. And that's the one thing Tavia Michaels swore she'd never do.

                                                                          My View

I really like the cover and the title, the name really fits the book. I love the summery, it a bit like boy meets girl, girl likes boy, but has a bit of a twist. The boy is a ghost. This does sound like the book for me. Hopefully I can find time t read this, or any other books, I have been so busy, I know I have been lacking on my blog, but I am on vacation this week, so a girl can relax. I know not about the book, but you guys need to know I still love my blog and will be updating soon, I have books for you!

Hi, this week I will be doing two WoW picks because I was not able to use blogger because of my computer.  So here are my two WoW picks...

A Darkness Strange and Lovely

Title- A Darkness Strange and Lovely
By. Susan Dennard
Released on: July 23, 2013

                                                                   Summery

With her brother dead and her mother insane, Eleanor Fitt is alone. Even the Spirit-Hunters—Joseph, Jie, and the handsome Daniel—have fled to Paris. So when Eleanor hears the vicious barking of hounds and see haunting yellow eyes, she fears that the Dead, and the necromancer Marcus, are after her.

To escape, Eleanor boards a steamer bound for France. There she meets Oliver, a young man who claims to have known her brother. But Oliver harbors a dangerous secret involving necromancy and black magic that entices Eleanor beyond words. If she can resist him, she’ll be fine. But when she arrives in Paris, she finds that the Dead have taken over, and there’s a whole new evil lurking. And she is forced to make a deadly decision that will go against everything the Spirit-Hunters stand for.

In Paris, there’s a price for this darkness strange and lovely, and it may have Eleanor paying with her life.

                                                               My View

I really like the cover, it chic but has a dark side to it. I don't really understand the title, but I guess I will have to read it to find out. The summery is a bit confusing, but I get some things out of it that I like. To me this book sounds like it should be in the 1800 because now a days people do not go insane when someone in there family dies. I do not know if I will get this book, it is very low on my going to read list.

2nd WoW

Just One Day

Title- Just One Day
By. Gayle Forman
Released on:  August 20, 2013

Summery

Sheltered and perhaps a tad less than worldly wise, Allyson Healey was a just another young, star-struck American in Paris when she met Willem De Ruiter at an offbeat performance of Twelfth Night. Willem was an actor, relaxed and self-confident; just the type of man who could win the heart of a girl on her first European vacation. For one glorious day, he leads her on a whirlwind tour of the City of the Light; but the next morning, he is gone. Stranded, confused Allyson will not let the matter rest. In the months ahead, she grapples with who he was, where he is, and who she is becoming. A fascinating love story and quest.

My View

The title really got my attention. The cover is so cute! I can not wait to pick this up. I like love stories that end up being quest, it is so romantic! Quests, to me, make the story better. They help the character find some thing that was lost or something forgotten. They always take the character on some many different adventures, sometime, I myself, want to be the character, just to feel what they are feeling! So as you can see  I really, really, really want this book now. I can not wait!

                                                                       My View

I loved the cover and the overview really got my attention. I can not wait to pick it up. This book reminds me of The Host because they control her mind. I love the idea that she is trying to protect her brother and Michael. I am a bit lost when is comes to the Spore Wars, I know the wipe out everyone between 20 and 60, but I don't understand why they have to do that. It may not be a paranormal romance, but is still sounds like a book for me. So hurry up  July 23, I'm waiting!!!!!
